Amenities and Facilities

Good to know

• Available from 16:00 on the day of arrival until 10:00 on the day of departure.
• For stays of more than seven nights we provide a full cleaning service.
• The swimming pool is open from May to September subject to weather conditions.
• Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas only.
• The property does not have an EV charging point. However, within a short distance from the property there are public EV charging points in Fongauffier close to the Mayor’s office or in Belvès.

We live on-site in the farmhouse next to the converted barn, so we are on hand if you need any advice on what to do or where to go.

Wine-tasting 

If you want to taste and learn about French wines without getting in the car, there are wine experts who will come to the Domaine to give you a fantastic wine-tasting session. We suggest either Dordogne Vineyard Tours who run sessions in English or the French speaking, British owners of a local wine bar. 

Wine tours

Dordogne Vineyard Tours offer organised wine tours across 3 different appellations of Bergerac. Tours include collection and drop-off from Domaine de La Banne.

Cheese and Charcuterie Platters

Enjoy a delicious platter of cheeses and charcuterie in the comfort of Domaine de La Banne. These are available from a wine bar in Belvès. Either we or you can order and collect. Let us know if you are interested and we can give you further details.

Bike Hire

Bike hire is available from Bike Bus who will deliver to the Domaine. Bikes can be hired for anything from 1 day upwards. Free delivery is subject to a minimum order. If you would like further information and details of how to receive a 10% discount, please let us know.

Canoeing

Canoes and kayaks can be hired from CanoSphere. Let us know if you would like further details about their trips and how to receive a 10% discount.

Garden produce

There are fruit and nut trees in the garden, please help us by helping yourselves. We have a small herb garden and grow our own vegetables which we are happy to share when the harvest is plentiful.

Toiletries 

You’ll find The White Company’s Noir range in the bathrooms (hand soaps, liquid soap, shower gel and conditioning shampoo) and in the kitchen (liquid soap). These are for you to use during your stay. If you’ve forgotten small things like a toothbrush, let us know and we’ll be happy to help you out.

Cleaning products

We provide fosse compatible dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, detergents and other cleaning products.

End-of-stay clean

We will not impose a cleaning charge at the end of your stay, but we do ask that you leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy state.
